There are several stages involved in placing an implant.  Initially a CT scan is done to determine the amount of bone in the area.  Bone grafting and implant surgeries are completed in our office in a sterile environment.  After the appropriate healing time,  an abutment and crown are  placed on the implant.  The area is  restored to the ideal function and aesthetics.

Dental implants are the best option for replacing missing teeth.  Implants give patients the ability to chew food properly while maintaining the appearance of natural teeth. 

Clenching, Grinding, and Night Guards

Many people clench or grind their teeth, especially while sleeping.  Clenching or grinding your teeth, called bruxism, results in flattening of the teeth, chips in the enamel, and cracks in the teeth.   It also causes discomfort in the jaw, sore facial muscles, and  teeth pain.  Night guards are important for protecting the teeth and making people feel more comfortable.
