Alexandra Nouel, DMD, CAGS
If you’re considering care from a gentle, energetic and highly qualified oral health care professional, consider Alexandra Nouel, DMD, CAGS.
Since graduating with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Universidad Central de Venezuela in 1991, Dr. Nouel has continued to expand her expertise. In 1995, she received her certificate in prosthodontics, an advanced graduate degree, from Tufts University. Prosthodontics is a specialty of dentistry which focuses on restoring missing or broken down teeth by creating and placing natural-looking substitutes or prosthetic teeth. In 1997, Tufts also presented her with her Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree.
Dr. Nouel continually learns about advancements in her field. She is a former clinical instructor from the Department of Restorative Dentistry at Tufts University, where she lectured on the following topics: maxillo-mandibular relations, oral diagnosis and treatment planning and partial removable restorations and its perspective on treatment planning.
Because Dr. Nouel is committed to excellence, she currently participates in numerous professional organizations. Aside from her membership in the Massachusetts Dental Society and the American Dental Association, she maintains memberships in the Colegio de Odontologos de Venezuela, the American College of Prosthodontists, the Academy of Osseointegration and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
In 1998, Dr. Nouel partnered with Dr. Mauro Stuparich in founding their private practice, Stuparich and Nouel Dental Associates. Together, they offer compassionate and high-tech dental care to the community of Boston.
In December of 2007, Dr. Nouel and Dr. Stuparich graduated from the Misch International Implant Institute. The Misch Institute is focused on hands-on education in surgical and prosthetic aspects of implant dentistry. It is co-sponsored by Temple University, and its programs are recognized by the Academy of General Dentistry. At the Misch Institute, Dr. Nouel completed an advanced implant prosthetic program. She is now a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
When Dr. Nouel is not practicing dentistry, she may be found at home spending time with her children. Other spare moments are occupied with her many hobbies. While she enjoys the arts and does some drawing and handcrafts, she is also an active skier, golfer, squash player and gardener.

Mauro Stuparich, DMD, CAGS
Dr. Mauro Stuparich is a health practitioner with many years of experience in professional private practice. He began his education at the University of Toronto, Canada, from which he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. He graduated from Tufts University in 1991, and then earned a Tufts University certificate in prosthodontics, an advanced graduate degree. Prosthodontists are dentists with advanced training in creating natural-looking replacements for missing or broken down teeth to restore patient's appearance, comfort, and health.
Dr. Stuparich practiced privately for four years before joining Dr. Alexandra Nouel in practice together. It is the combination of continued education and providing quality care that keeps Dr. Stuparich at the forefront of prosthodontic and implant advancements.
Committed to learning advanced techniques, Dr. Stuparich graduated from the Misch International Implant Institute in December of 2007. Dr. Stuparich finished an advanced surgical and prosthetic implant program. He is now successfully placing implants in areas that were previously thought to have insufficient bone. Dr. Stuparich is a Fellow of the Misch International Implant Institute and a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr. Stuparich’s former appointment as an assistant clinical professor at Tufts has allowed him to share his practical experience with the next generation of dental students.
Memberships in several professional organizations provide Dr. Stuparich with the means to influence developments in his field, as well as a wider forum to improve patient care. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the American College of Prosthodontists, the Massachusetts Dental Society, the Academy of Osseointegration and the International Congress for Oral Implantologists.
When Dr. Stuparich is not practicing dentistry, he can be found at home, spending time with his wife and children. Other spare moments are spent on the links, on the slopes, and playing squash. He also enjoys cooking and gardening.

Laura Mitchell- Registered Dental Hygienist
Laura is a full-time registered dental hygienist. She graduated from the Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Boston. She helps patients achieve optimal oral health through education about dental issues and maintenance of dental hygiene visits. Laura also works with patients during Zoom! whitening procedures.

Danijela Mehic- Office Manager
Danijela has been with Stuparich and Nouel Dental Associates for over six years. She began working as a dental assistant, and later became the scheduling coordinator. She is currently our office manager. She helps patients with treatment planning and scheduling, and works with the insurance companies to ensure proper dental coverage. While we do not have contracts with most insurance companies, it is important for us to help you maximize the benefits of your insurance plan.

Snezana Jusufovic- Dental Assistant
Snezana has been a chairside dental assistant at Stuparich and Nouel Dental Associates for over three years. She assists Dr. Stuparich during surgeries, and is responsible for preparing and maintaining a sterile field during surgeries. Snezana also works in our lab creating night guards, retainers and bleaching trays.

Aurea Pimentel- Dental Assistant
Aurea is a chairside dental assistant, and works with Dr. Nouel during CEREC procedures. During surgeries, she takes photographs and documents surgical notes. Aurea has been working as a dental assistant for five years. She is originally from the Dominican Republic, and graduated from Universidad Iberoamericana in 2002 with a Doctorate in Dentistry.
